Hat Tricks is dedicated to those who experience hair loss, and more specifically, New Zealanders who have hair loss due to a medical condition or treatment and qualify for the Ministry of Health subsidies for Wigs and Hairpieces.

Cheryl, who founded and runs Hat Tricks, started out in the alternative hair business when she launched Simply Wigs in 2011. This came about through her own experience of hair loss.

Through her work with clients she recognised that many women prefer to wear hats and scarves during their chemotherapy journey and that men were not being catered for with suitable headwear through their treatment journeys. And, more to the point, most people were not made aware that they could spend their subsidy for hair loss on hats as well as wigs… particularly again men.

Hat Tricks endeavours to supply a wide range of high quality headwear suitable for our climate with high UV protection, some with neck and face covering, as well as really soft and warm items, that you would not necessarily find in any one single store. In addition, we facilitate a “cashless” transaction by validating and claiming your subsidy from the Ministry of Health on your behalf.
